Your Questions, Answered by Learning Stage

We understand that starting a new learning journey brings many questions. Here are the most common ones organized by where you are in the process.

1

Before You Enroll

Do I need prior programming experience?

No programming background required. We start with fundamentals and build complexity gradually. However, basic computer skills and familiarity with web browsing are helpful.

When does the next cohort begin?

Our next program starts September 2025, with enrollment opening in June. We also offer a January 2026 cohort with enrollment beginning in October 2025.

What equipment do I need?

A laptop with at least 8GB RAM running Windows, Mac, or Linux. We'll help you set up all necessary software during the first week of classes.

How much time should I expect to invest?

Plan for 15-20 hours per week including live sessions, project work, and study time. Most students find this manageable alongside full-time work.

2

During the Program

What if I fall behind on assignments?

Our instructors provide extra support sessions and extended deadlines when needed. We also have peer study groups and recorded sessions for review.

Are there opportunities for networking?

Yes! Monthly meetups with local developers, quarterly demo days where you present projects, and an active Slack community with graduates working across Taiwan.

How are projects evaluated?

Projects are reviewed for code quality, functionality, and adherence to requirements. You'll receive detailed feedback and opportunities for revision.

Can I access materials after completing modules?

All course materials, recordings, and project templates remain accessible for 12 months after program completion for ongoing reference.

3

After Completion

Do you provide job placement assistance?

We offer portfolio reviews, mock interviews, and connections to our hiring partner network, but we don't make employment promises. Success depends on individual effort and market conditions.

What kind of roles do graduates typically pursue?

Junior front-end developer, UI developer, and web developer roles at startups, agencies, and established tech companies throughout Taiwan.

Is there ongoing support after graduation?

Graduates can attend quarterly workshops, access our job board, and participate in the alumni network. We also offer advanced workshops on emerging technologies.

Do you provide certificates or credentials?

Yes, you'll receive a certificate of completion and can showcase your projects on GitHub. Your portfolio of real applications serves as your primary credential.
